Day 1 cont. - Lincoln/Vietnam/WWII Memorials

After Arlington Cemetery we ventured over to the Lincoln Memorial. We walked along the (drained for cleaning) reflection pool to the Vietnam Memorial and the World War II Memorial. We later went to the Iwo Gima (officially the Marine Corps War Memorial) but it so dark by then that my pictures of that are too dark to see. Google it if you want to see what it looks like!

Day 1 - Arlington National Cemetery

Ben and I went to Washington DC this past week and had a blast! Tanaya and Tim took such good care of us and acted as our tour guides for the entire week! Thanks Tanaya and Tim. They fed me so well that I gained 3 pounds which really surprises me because we walked SO MUCH that I was sure I walked off all the extra good food they fed me.

I will post a few pictures from the trip. Our first day there we went to Arlington National Cemetery. Here are pictures of Pres. Kennedy's grave, the space shuttle memorial, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, coliseum and misc.
